Hello

As a kid I always loved writing and English. This pushed me to win awards in creative writing and short stories. One of which was about the cattle on the property I lived on, which ended up published in a short story book. These achievements pushed me to work harder at writing as I went into high school, which translated into a Media and Communication degree at University of Newcastle. Now going into my third year, I have loved every second of my degree and am excited to jump into a career in strategic communication where I can further my writing skills in a strategic manner. Once graduating I would like to move into a position in federal government, specifically the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, but realistically, any department. By learning the essential skills used in government work I can decide whether I want to stay on that path or move into the private setting. Eventually, I would love to work in the diplomacy space, shaping speeches for diplomats and policy wording internationally.
